Thank you very much for going the extra mile in order to repair the climate control system on our 1982 280zx. As you know, two repair shops tried and were unsuccessful for a number of reasons and, to make a long story short, I ended up paying them over $3,000 to get my unrepaired car back. They just didn’t have the expertise and resources to repair a 280 ZX saying the car it too old (after the fact they tell me!). As a note, Ben even tried helping them over the phone by providing faxes, information and diagrams as a courtesy.
This was not the case at DANDOS’s who had serviced our Z over the years when we lived in Fremont before moving to Roseville seven years ago. As a last resort, DANDO’s was willing to work on our Z and for the rest of the story, it is now fixed and working correctly.
As a result the trips to Fremont were worth the additional expense, time and effort

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone at Dando’s Automotive for all the hard work and troubleshooting that was needed to get my old 1978 VW Bus to pass smog. I was going to give up on it, but not only did you get it to pass, it runs better than ever!!! It’s all too common to find auto repair businesses that take advantage of their customers and provide subpar service. But Benji and the rest of your staff are friendly, very knowledgeable, stands behind their repairs and actually takes the time to talk to you. That’s rare these days. Dando’s has consistently provided great service and gone the extra mile, even providing me a ride when I needed one.
Thank you very much for being one to the good ones. You’ve got a customer for life.
